Which wall clock size fits your wall?
Our wall clocks come in 30 to 42 cm, depending on the model. Tap a size to see it to scale above a 2-metre sofa, next to a standard door.
Above a sofa or a sideboard, choose 38 or 42 cm; in a bedroom, an office or a kitchen, or on a narrow wall, 30 or 34 cm is enough. Hang it high, with its centre at about 1.70–1.80 m, so it reads from anywhere in the room, like in a shop window.

What size wall clock do I need?
Look at the empty wall and the furniture under it. Over a sofa, a sideboard or a fireplace, 38 to 42 cm reads well from across the room. In a bedroom, a home office or a kitchen, 30 to 34 cm looks right and is still easy to read.
How high should I hang a wall clock?
Higher than a picture: with its centre at about 1.70 to 1.80 m from the floor, a wall clock reads from anywhere in the room, the way dealer clocks hang in shop windows. Above a sofa that leaves a generous gap, which looks intentional.
Can I read a 30 cm clock from across the room?
Yes, from about 4 to 5 metres in normal light. In a large living room or an open-plan space, a 38 or 42 cm clock is easier to read.
Do the clocks tick?
No. They run on a silent sweep movement, so the second hand glides without a tick. That makes them fine for a bedroom.
